Learn to Coach Yourself
Build a life you love.
Your life is an adventure & you're the HERO!
â Maybe you're facing a dragon right now.
â Maybe you feel overwhelmed, stuck, alone, afraid, or completely unsure what to do next.
â Or maybe life is pretty goodâbut you know you're capable of more. You have things you want to experience, relationships you want to build, and dreams you want to chase.
Either way, here's something I fiercely believe:
You are far more capable than you know.
You don't need someone else to take over your story. You need great tools, meaningful questions, real experiences, people who believe in youâand the courage to keep going when things get hard.
That's what Find the Joy is about.
You bring the adventure. We'll bring some tools.
Â
Â
Around here, we believe...
We fiercely trust young people.
We donât remove your dragons. We help you discover that you can slay them.
You can become someone you trust to build a life you love.
WHAT FIND THE JOY ACTUALLY IS
This isnât another course to sit through.
Find the Joy is life coaching you actually practice. Youâll learn tools for understanding your thoughts, handling hard things, building great relationships, pursuing meaningful goals, and taking care of the mind and body carrying you through it all.
But learning about something isnât the same as knowing how to do it.
So we practice. We try things. We get uncomfortable. We pay attention to what our brains do. We fail forward. We ask questions. We get coached. We try again.
You can do it ugly until you can do it pretty.
Because confidence doesnât mean knowing exactly what to do. Confidence means knowing you can figure it out.
Four parts of an extraordinary life.
Build the whole you.

About those dragons...
A dragon is something in your life that feels bigger than you are.
Fear. Comparison. Perfectionism. A friendship that's falling apart. A belief that you're not enough. A habit you can't seem to change. A dream you're terrified to pursue.
We aren't going to promise you a life without dragons.
Dragons are part of the adventure.
They give us opportunities to riseâto become braver, wiser, kinder and more capable than we were before.
And here's the really cool part:
Every time you face something you didn't think you could handle, you collect evidence:
I can do hard things.
I can learn.
I can change.
I can figure things out.
That's how real confidence is built.
We aren't trying to create a dragon-free life.
We're becoming really good dragon slayers.

Keep Going
Change can feel uncomfortable. Keep practicing, learning and trying againâeven when your brain wants to quit.
You do the becoming. Iâll help you keep going.
I've spent the last eight years working with teenagers at Acton Leadership Academy, where I've had a front-row seat to something extraordinary:
When young people are given meaningful challenges, great questions, useful tools and the genuine belief that they can figure things outâthey do incredible things.
My job as a guide wasn't to stand at the front of the room dispensing answers.
It was to create the game, ask the questions, step backâand watch the magic happen.
But there's another reason I created Find the Joy.
I needed this when I was young.
I spent years feeling like other people's choices determined whether I could be okay. I felt powerless over parts of my life and didn't understand how much influence my own thoughts and beliefs had over my experience.
It took me decades, great coaches, transformative books, difficult experiences and a whole lot of practice to discover tools that changed my life.
And eventually I found something I desperately wish teenage Mindy had known:
I wasn't powerless.
I could learn to manage my mind.
I could stop trying to manage everyone else's journey.
I could face hard things.
I could build beautiful relationships.
I could create a life I loved.
I found the key.
And now I want to hand young people the tools much earlier than I found them.
IS THIS FOR YOU?
Maybe you're ready for more!
Find the Joy might be for you ifâŚ
⢠You have a dragon youâre ready to face.
⢠You overthink, compare or doubt yourself more than youâd like.
⢠You want stronger, more meaningful relationships.
⢠You have a dreamâbut you arenât sure how to begin.
⢠Life is going pretty well, but you know youâre capable of more.
You donât need to have everything figured out.
You just need to be willing to get curious, try something new and keep going when it gets uncomfortable.
The driverâs seat is yours.
Joy isnât the absence of hard things. Itâs learning to find meaning, connection, growth and possibilityâeven when life isnât easy.
Iâll bring tools, ask questions, create challenges and coach you when you get stuck.
But I canât live your adventure for you.
And I wouldnât want to.
Because this is your life. Your journey. Your becoming.
